Charlie Parker
Charlie Parker was born in Kansas City, Kansas on
August 29th 1920. He wrote Billie's Bounce. He composed Ornithology,
Confirmation, Scrapple from the Apple and Anthropology, among other
works. His albums include Bird & Diz, Charlie Parker with Strings,
First Recordings! and Jazz at Massey Hall. He was married to Chan
Parker. He had occupations including musician and film composer. He died
in New York City in March 1955 aged 34 years and 7 months old. The
cause of his death was pneumonia.
